The Free State of Florida: Really? What About Responsibility?
Is Florida really the land of the free? Responsibility is an antonym for freedom. How has the implied need for balance between them evolved here and elsewhere historically? Why is it that rights are rights, but freedoms aren't free? What do human biology and the U.S. Constitution have to say about freedom and responsibility? Where do abortion-restrictions, banning of books, government-restrictions on the teaching of history and culture, vaccine-requirements, mask-requirements and public-health restrictions fit on the freedom/responsibility spectrum?
