True American Modern Art
American painters, sculptors and architects of the 20th century created innovative ideas that made the U.S. a force to be reckoned with on the world art scene. Familiar names like Georgia O'Keeffe, Frank Lloyd Wright, Alexander Calder, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol all bring to mind distinctive visual styles. We examine works by nineteen artists, each original, each imaginative, but all distinctively American.
