Join us for a leisurely 3 hour paddle on the historic and scenic Orange River. The Orange River is a famous gathering area for the Manatee during the cold winter months. Warm water discharged from the local power plant provides critical warmth to Manatees when water temperatures get too cold. Learn about the Manatee life cycle from a certified Florida Master Naturalist and the challenges they face as they fight for their survival. Feel the thrill and excitement of seeing an endangered species in the wild with us! Wear weather appropriate and comfortable clothes.
