A Day at the Opera: Tchaikovsky

$20 per person, Monday, April 3rd, 10:00 am � 11:30 am

Eugene Onegin is the product of two of Russia�s greatest artistic geniuses. It pairs Peter Tchaikovsky�s glorious music with Alexander Pushkin�s most famous novel. You have probably heard the beautiful waltz and stirring polonaise. Now fall in love with Tatiana during her letter scene and learn about the creation, music and story of this most popular Russian opera. Following the lecture, you may watch Eugene Onegin on Saturday, April 22 and on the following Wednesday evening when it will be videocast in HD by the Metropolitan Opera at several local theaters.
