Cancelled RA - Apollo 13: American Greatness and The Mission To The Moon
2020 will be the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission. This lecture will provide a review of the Apollo Space Program from 1963 – 1972 through the eyes of an MIT Engineer who was involved with the design of the Inertial Navigation and Control System used for the Command and Lunar Modules on all Apollo Missions. Stationed at Houston Mission Control for the duration of the Apollo 13 flight, our instructor was a member of the team awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for its work. Join us for a look back at one of the most dynamic and fascinating NASA space programs of the 20th Century. Instructor: Edward Grace
