Fabulous France: 2000 Years in Provence
This lecture will explore two millennia of accomplishments in Provence including the Roman founding of cities such as Arles and Aix-en-Provence, the building of landmark medieval cathedrals, and how the area became a favorite haunt of some of the world’s most beloved painters, including Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne.
