Great Literature and the Law
For those of us obsessed with murder mysteries, crime, and legal conundrums, this lecture explores how legal issues have embedded themselves in both classic and popular fiction. We will examine several of the best books about law identified by the American Bar Association, discuss why the issues in these books are timeless, and how they impact our society today. We will explore books such as Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, Camus The Stranger, and Grisham’s The Firm. Instructor: Linda Argenti
