Same-household spouses or partners (one only) may attend for free. Hearing loss is a significant disability, and recent studies show that untreated hearing loss is a factor in dementia and Alzheimer's. Yet there is much that can be done to treat hearing loss. We will review the latest state of the art technology, as well as the claims "My (His) hearing aids don't work!" or "I hear what I want to hear; the problem is you mumble." In addition, we will address the recent legislation regarding Over the Counter Hearing Devices, the effect on cost and how well these devices work.
