Languages of the World
There are over 6,000 languages in the world today. It is estimated that one language dies out every two weeks. This lecture will discuss the definition of language, where these 6,000 plus languages are spoken, who speaks them and why do they die out. Also discussed will be the difference between a language and a dialect and whether our language controls how we perceive the world. Instructor: Edward Maxwell
