Join Grammy and Emmy Award winning musician Dave Powers for this exciting presentation! Through live performance and lecture, Dave will examine the continuing popularity of music derived from the Great American Songbook, highlighting legendary popular music composers like George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and others whose music compositions from show-tunes to pop hits still are popular today. Instructor: Dave Powers
- Online programs are typically 60 minutes of lecture with 15 minutes of Q&A at the END of the presentation. Students will be able to type questions into the system at any time during the presentation.
- No software or downloads are required. Students can participate using a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
- Enrollments for all April/May online programs may be limited as Renaissance Academy tests this new platform. Please be patient with us.
