This lecture/performance is a brief, concise look at the evolution of the uniquely American music called Jazz and its history, from Louis Armstrong to Duke Ellington to Charlie Parker and Miles Davis to the modern jazz of today. This presentation features live performances and lecture. Hum some bars, tap your toes, and discover why so many love jazz! Instructor: Dave Powers
- Online programs are typically 60 minutes of lecture with 15 minutes of Q&A at the END of the presentation. Students will be able to type questions into the system at any time during the presentation.
