Medicare 101: An Overview

Tuesday, July 21st
10:00 am – 11:15 am

Medicare isn't anything like the health insurance you used to have. It's a whole new ballgame,
with important enrollment rules, different coverage parts (ABC&D), a variety of Medicare
Supplements, and in Southwest Florida, there are multiple Advantage plans and Medicare Drug
plans to choose from. It can be overwhelming and confusing with numerous choices. Medicare
101 is meant to offer an across-the-board introduction and serve as a good refresher. It will
cover the most probable enrollment periods and rules, and the Parts and Plans mentioned
above along with their differences, pros and cons. We will discuss buyer priorities vs. popular
options and a practical process for plan selection or change.
