This presentation explores the underlying assumptions about the role of the U.S. in the world (unipolar power, isolationist, realist) and looks at the Founders' vision of an American role as presented by George Washington, John Quincy Adams and others. We will also examine the different resources for securing national security requirements including military force, diplomacy, economic power, and intelligence. Instructor: Jeffrey Steinberg

  • Online programs are typically 60 minutes of lecture with 15 minutes of Q&A at the END of the presentation. Students will be able to type questions into the system at any time during the presentation.
