Origins of the Human Experience & Prehistoric Cave Art (5hr In-Depth Seminar; with Lunch)

Lunch is included with this full day seminar. Tens of thousands of years ago, the earliest ancestors of humankind began a journey “out of Africa” and around the world. Eventually, they would end up in southern Europe/ Iberian Peninsula, where their extraordinary cultural development would continue, out of necessity, in cave locales. Other evidence would be found in the caves of Mt. Carmel, in modern Israel. Such caves would include Lascaux, Altamira, Chauvet, and Cosquer. Instructor: Dr. Steven Derfler
