Your Brain and Meditation

 

 

What do Harvard neuroscientists, Goldie Hawn, and the Dali Lama have in common? All have presented clear evidence of how meditation changes the brain. Regular practice creates neural connections promoting clear thinking, emotional stability and compassion. It reduces stress by balancing activity in the amygdala, the brain’s fear center. We will discuss the science behind how it all works, and spend a little time in meditation. Instructor: Ann Marina
