TIC – Boaters Safety

A brief free course on the basics of boating safety is being offered by an experienced boater.

The 1.5 hour Power point course will cover: How to read a nautical chart, including depths, standard color schemes on charts, basic rules of the road on the water, ROW, and proper use of the marine radio. Tips will be provided on boating apps for navigation and tides.

Facilitator: Frank Connolly, who held a "six pack" Captain's license and currently is a certified boating instructor with the USCG Auxiliary.
