TIC: Civilization: The West and the Rest (Every Monday for 4 weeks)

Description: No previous civilization has ever achieved such dominance as the west over the rest by a conversion achieved ultimately more by the word than the sword. Over the course of four sessions, participants will discuss the book Civilization: The West and the Rest and view the film based on the book. Through film and book we will identify the true causes of western ascendancy so as to estimate the possible imminence of our decline
and fall.
