Clementine: Churchill's "Secret Weapon"

We all know something about Winston Churchill, "the British Bulldog." But what about Clementine Ogilvy Spencer-Churchill, Baroness Spencer-Churchill? She was a power in her own right, but one who has been ignored by historians until recently. How did Clementine, behind the scenes or at the side of her husband, have a hand in Britain's history, and indeed in world events? Did she sacrifice her own life and self-fulfillment at his side? What legacy has she left in politics and beyond? Four members of Hooked on Books, the book club at The Commons Club, will share their thoughts on the life of Clementine Churchill in a facilitator-led Q&A format. Attendees will be most welcome to join in with questions and answers.
