Contemporary art has taken hold of public and critical cultural discourse in recent years. Mary Cecilia Mitsch is a director at Marianne Boesky Gallery, one of New York's top galleries specializing in modern art, and works with well-known artists such as Frank Stella, Diana al-Hadid, Sue de Beer, Anthony Pearson, and more, as well as emerging artists. She represents the gallery and its artists at major European and Asian art fairs as well as at the Boesky galleries in New York and Aspen. She will discuss how you can engage in this conversation and in the long world history of patronage for the arts, whether by appreciating and attending museum exhibitions, beginning to collect, or further developing a collection.
