Introducing Cercle Francais
Everyone is welcome to join all or some of the sessions of the French Circle here at The Commons Club. All that is necessary is an interest in the French language and culture, and the willingness to participate and have fun at any level. We try to speak French as much as possible, although sometimes we degenerate into English! We enjoy sharing information about travel, music, food, and wine, as well as hints and struggles as we try to learn the French language a little bit better. Starting in January, Wednesdays 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm - meet in person at the Enrichment Center and will provide a Zoom link for anyone joining from another location. We would like to have a French Table at the Rookery once or twice a month, and perhaps, wine and aperitifs as well. We may hire a French teacher to facilitate a French conversation group as well. Last year we enjoyed a French cooking demonstration from Chef Joel and would like to repeat that.
