Intro to Abstract Art

Award winning artist Lisa Batch is delighted to return to Talents in Common with a class for the beginner and intermediate abstract painter. Enjoy the freedom of painting boldly without the limitations of traditional art! Unleash your inner creativity! We will explore the elements of good composition and touch on terms such as marking, clouding, layering, striking and dripping and we'll discuss the different mediums and tools available to enhance your outcome.

Students will need to furnish their own art supplies and a list will be emailed to registrants. A follow-up series of 4 classes will be offered for students interested in improving their skills, limited to 8 students.
