THE STORY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE
The Story of the Armenian Genocide (the world’s first genocide) includes a review of the historical tragedy that occurred about 100 years ago (1915) in Turkey when the Ottoman government instigated the systematic extermination of 1.5 million Armenians. Participants will learn about the factors that contributed to the genocide, its implementation, the world’s response and lack of response, and the staggering results to the Armenian population.
