Using Mindfulness and Meditation to Navigate Uncertainty
In these challenging times, cultivating our capacity for inner peace and resilience is a natural way to stay balanced and open minded in the face of uncertainty and confusion. Chronic stress can keep the body in a constant state of high arousal (or fight/flight/freeze), which can weaken the immune system and contract our ability to respond skillfully to life's difficulties. This engaging presentation will demonstrate how mindfulness and meditation can anchor the body in the present moment and help to rewire the brain to respond more calmly to the ups and downs of daily life.
