Digital Wildlife Photography & Image Processing
Digital photography equipment and software has made the hobby of wildlife photography accessible to newcomers and experienced film photographers alike. This course provides an overview of digital photography equipment, shooting techniques, and post-processing software and methods, including:
· Single lens reflex vs. mirrorless cameras
· Types of camera lenses and an explanation of focal length
· Shooting Techniques including focusing, exposure metering and compensation, shutter speed, aperture, & ISO
· Post-Processing of digital images and software, including cropping, an introduction to Lightroom, and how to reduce or eliminate image "noise"
· Long-term storage of digital images
