Lonnie Herman, a longtime 30 decade resident of Tampa, shares his love of history and encyclopedic knowledge of Ybor City, while entertaining and educating us on this tour.

Join us as we walk down “La Septima Avenue” (Seventh Avenue) or “Broadway” as the locals know it. Seventh Avenue is not just a street but the heart of a special community, and has been designated by the American Planning Associations (APA) Great Streets in America for its history and character.

Our Walking Tour will include:

* History on how the orders for the Cuban uprising against Spain were smuggled from Ybor City to Havana.

* Experience a visa free visit to the only Cuban owned land in America.

* Learn about the game of Bolita and the fascinating history of how organized crime controlled Tampa for decades.

* Stop in an old Cigar rolling factory for a demo.

* Enjoy lunch at the original “Columbia” restaurant in a private setting.

This all inclusive day requires about 1.5 miles of walking so wear comfortable shoes and get on board.
Reservations are required.
